Where are the best photo ops located on your property?
The Hornblower Garden, designed by Fredrick Law Olmstead, and the Nye Barn — home to several goats and our llama, Hyacinth!
When is your busiest season?
Though we do hold events year-round, September and October are our busiest months and we usually book about one-and-a-half years out.
Is your venue a one-stop shop?
Yes, we have two beautiful main reception spaces, both with outdoor elements, and two lovely outdoor ceremony spaces.
Do you have an on-site coordinator? If so, tell us about them.
Our sales manager works with couples up until the month before their big day, then hands them over to our event manager who will run the reception, coordinate all of the vendors and accommodate all of their needs on the big day.

What’s your catering situation?
Plentiful Catering and Events is the on-site caterer at Plimoth Plantation and all of the food and beverages are prepared in-house.
What’s your alcohol / bar situation and policy?
We hold a liquor license and a four-and-a-half-hour full, open bar is included in all of our packages.
What advice would you give to newly engaged couples that are beginning their venue search?
Come prepared with a list of questions, but let the salesperson show you the property first — it will give you a good sense of the vibe of the venue and probably answer at least 50 percent of your questions right from the start.
Do you host any other wedding-related events (i.e. bridal showers or rehearsal dinners)?
We host all sorts of events and have several packages geared towards social and corporate occasions.
“Plimoth Plantation far exceeded any expectations we ever had. Alex, our day-of coordinator, was absolutely amazing. He truly took the time to get to know us and see our vision. He was very responsive, and made us feel like family. Great experience.” – Chantelle on TheKnot.com
