What makes Lake Pearl stand out from other venues? An obvious answer would be “the lake” and how the dramatic backdrop of Lake Pearl stands out in pictures. We are a hidden gem in a cozy town with a unique lakefront wedding venue, minus the price of traveling to Newport or Cape Cod. Second to the stunning views, we get the most remarks about how amazing our staff is; how attentive, how helpful and how truly caring they all are. We have been family-owned-and-operated since our opening in 1998, and pride ourselves on making everyone who walks through our doors feel like a part of this family. We take care of everything for you — no need for outside service, planning or coordinating. Everything you need is right here.
Where are the best photo-ops on your property? For some couples, it’s the beach. Forothers, it’s sunset on the Tree Top Deck. Others love the Cinderella Carriage. Betweentwenty-five acres of gardens and lawns, our private beach and the tree groves, there’san abundance of “best photo-ops” to suit any couple.
What options do couples have for their ceremony space? Most of our couples aremarried right here on site. And with good reason! The stunning beach, the waterfront BoatHouse, the Grand Terrace with a sweeping view of the lake and the intimate Tree TopTerrace all offer gorgeous options for ceremonies.
What options do couples have for their reception space? We have four separate spaces, including our Belvedere, which is a brand-new permanent structure that took the place of the seasonal Victorian Tent. The Tree Top Room can hold up to 100 guests and provides floor-to-ceiling windows, showing a panoramic view of the lake. The Grand Ballroom can hold up to 500 but has the option to be made into two separate and smaller stunning ballrooms with brand new hardwood floors. Each space features its own entry, cocktail space and outdoor area — which are separate from the main reception room. They are all very private, with aesthetics rangingfrom formal to whimsical to rustic.
Do you have an on-site coordinator? Tell us about them and how they help couples with their big day. Every Lake Pearl wedding couple has a wedding coordinator who rises from the best of the best of our service team. This person manages the overall reception — meeting the couple at their rehearsal the night before, walking them down the aisle and remaining with them the entire night until they pack up their cars and wave goodbye. Each couple additionally gets a personal wedding attendant to manage their timeline, handle all personal touches and pamper them. We also provide each couple with a dedicated sales manager. These fabulous women take each couple from the initial tour to menu choices, the timeline and final details just days before their wedding. Lake Pearl supplies all that couples need for an effortless planning process. On the day of the wedding, we assure the couple that we have all the details handled — the only thing they should be concerned with is looking great and having an amazing time.
Tell us about your catering situation. What's the most popular item on the menu? Ourexecutive chef has been here for more than fifteen years. He makes everything fresh from ovento plate for each event. Chef Kyle specializes in traditional New England fare — like his beloved bacon-wrapped filet mignon, Atlantic grilled salmon and Tuscan Statler chicken — but he alsohas a flair for Mediterranean food and is always excited to customize to any flavor profile.
Do you offer any special discounts or packages? We offer four wedding packages, each built on the one before it, with great value at a wide range of price points to fit any budget. Our top three wedding packages include fresh floral centerpieces and a custom-designed wedding cake.
What advice would you give engaged couples that are just beginning their venue search? There are a lot of venues to choose from; you can look forever. Choosing a venue is like choosing a spouse. You date a little bit, then find the one that feels right, and then you seal the deal. We pride ourselves on giving that personal touch with undivided attention — we care about you as a couple and want to welcome you to the Lake Pearl Wrentham family.
