The Meet Cute
During their spring semester at Bryant University in 2018, William was in need of a date to a fraternity party. One of his brothers suggested a friend of his named Paige. Their blind date turned to a night filled with great conversation, lots of laughs and listening to “Dancing Queen” by ABBA.
The semester ended a few weeks later while their story continued. Paige made her first of many ferry trips across the Long Island Sound from East Granby, Connecticut, to William’s hometown in Southold, New York, where the two would spend their first summer together on the North Fork, becoming inseparable. Between college graduations, apartment move-ins and corporate jobs, they’ve experienced many milestone moments, supporting each other every step of the way.
Today, Paige and William live in Providence, where they’ve made countless memories and adopted Tucker, their golden doodle pup. The excited couple are ready to start the next chapter of their love story and celebrate with their friends and family during their August wedding at the Wyndham Atlantic Resort.

The Proposal
Last summer, Paige’s parents and grandparents were visiting the couple in Providence. Their Saturday morning was spent at the Ocean House in Westerly, and they concluded the night at some of their favorite eateries on Federal Hill.
The next day, William saw the perfect opportunity to whisk Paige away for an impromptu drive to Prospect Terrace, a quiet little park that sits above the city on College Hill. As the couple admired the beautiful view of Providence, reflecting on the memories they’ve made together in the city over the past five years, William got down on one knee and asked Paige to marry him.
Upon returning home, William had planned an engagement party with their closest friends and family to celebrate the news. He had catered food from their favorite restaurants and printed photos of their favorite memories. To top it all off, Tucker the golden doodle pup was waiting for them, tail wagging and sporting a bandana stating “My parents are getting married!”
