Past lovers reconnect five decades later as if no time has passed between them.

The Meet Cute
Fifty-one years ago is when Karen and Murray first locked eyes. She was in grad school in West Hartford and he lived in Connecticut. He was dating her roommate at the time, but his relationship with her was short-lived as soon as Karen walked into the apartment. Karen and Murray dated for a year and a half before losing contact with each other. They both married their respective spouses before Karenwent through a divorced and Murray’s wife passed. The two connected once again a year and a half ago on a dating site, and gave their relationship another go.
The Proposal
Murray asked Karen’s son for her hand in marriage before the pair visited a jeweler to pick out a ring.
