The Christmas lights at the Squantum Association were festive and bright for Erin and Daniel’s December wedding, featuring vanilla and red velvet cupcakes from Taunton Avenue Bakery and lively music from Those Guys.
The Meet Cute: The couple met through friends in 2012 and reconnected a year later before going on their first date on February 27, 2013.
The Engagement: Danny and Erin traveled to Rome for vacation with friends and visited the Vatican to have breakfast in the Pope’s Pinecone Court. After breakfast, Danny asked a friend to take a picture of the couple and got down on one knee and asked Erin to marry him.
The Season: The couple loves the holiday season, so winter was the ideal time for the two to get married.
The Accents: The Squantum Association had a Christmas tree and the whole room was strung with white lights. They included their children to be a part of their wedding day to make the celebration even more special. The band, Those Guys, kept the party going all night and the venue’s event coordinator, Tina, made sure everything was perfect.
The Advice: “Live in the moment and enjoy the day with your family and friends,” Erin says. “Do not stress over the little details because at the end of the day, you and your guests are going to remember how beautiful the day was and not the details.”
