The night of their wedding, a lucky couple will get photography, a photo booth, lighting, DJ and emcee services – free of charge.
Tom and Kristen Conte of Conte Sound Productions, who have more than twenty years of industry experience, are in the spirit of giving. They are survivors of the Station Nightclub fire that occurred on February 20, 2003, due to the pyrotechnics that were set off during the band Great White’s performance. Tom’s band Fathead had opened for Great White, the headlining act.
Once Great White began their performance, Tom and Kristen stayed in the crowd to support. “When Great White’s pyrotechnics went off, the club went black,” says Kristen. “The deepest, blackest, thickest darkness you could ever imagine. We still have no idea how we made it out of there, we were pushed out in the crowd of people because we just happened to be standing near the front doors. My last breath was complete smoke, but next thing I knew we were outside on the ground. If it wasn’t for Tom, I wouldn’t be here. He never let go of me.”
Outside the club, the two were alongside countless other survivors, but unfortunately, five of their friends and two of Tom’s band members were among the 100 people who died that night.
Kristen and Tom are grateful and humbled by the events that night, and they do everything they can to touch people’s lives with generosity, kindness and love. They want to show their gratitude by offering a free wedding service to one lucky couple this year.
Share your life story to the Conte Sound team and explain why you and your partner deserve to win a CSP wedding giveaway. One lucky couple will be chosen on December 31, 2024 at noon, when they announce who will be granted free DJ, photography and lighting services for their big day!
