Katie Gregory of Warwick, Rhode Island and Carl Whitham of Newton, Massachusetts are engaged! After hitting it off on a blind date in college, these two are getting hitched on June 17 at The Towers in Narragansett, Rhode Island.

How We Met

We met through a mutual friend — we were set up on a blind date when we were in our senior year in college at the University of Rhode Island. We had our first date at Caserta Pizza on Federal Hill in Providence where we shared a classic cheese pizza and the rest is history!

Our Proposal Story

Carl proposed to Katie on Oct. 8, 2022 at the top of the hill of Camp Cronin in Point Judith at sunset. “Sunrises and sunsets are our favorite!” Katie says. Once engaged, they went to the Coast Guard House to celebrate.
