The Meet Cute

We met in 2013 as a sophomore and junior at Cumberland High School. I was selling football tickets to the homecoming game during lunch period, Kyle bought one and from there it was history!

The Engagement

We got engaged on June 5, 2021, on Commonwealth Ave in Boston. Comm Ave is one of our favorite places in the city. Kyle is an engineer who often has early mornings in Boston, so he lied and said he had to work the next morning and wanted to make a weekend of it. As we were walking to our “dinner reservations,” he proposed! It was amazing and Janelle was there to capture it all!

The Session

After being together for eight years, we have tons of photos together and honestly were running out of new poses/ideas to keep it fresh! We told Janelle we wanted more romantic ones, so we thought the water would be perfect!! Although it was a bit cold, it was so much fun! The pictures made all of our Pinterest dreams come true and they are for sure ones we will always reminisce on. 

The Wedding Plans

We are so excited to be getting married in October; it was the month we met so it was only fitting to make it our forever date! Our theme is rustic elegance with some romance. Our major vendors are all Rhode Island-based. Growing up with Wright’s Dairy Farm just a couple towns over, it was a no-brainer to get our cake from somewhere we grew up on! Our photographer, Janelle, ran cross country with me so she has really seen our relationship grow from start to finish, so it’s so cool to have her capturing our most exciting moments yet! Our signage will be courtesy of Emily Murray of Something Borrowed Event Décor, a Rhode Island small business. These little touches are going to bring the nostalgia, for sure! When it comes to what we are most excited about for marriage, it’s really just continuing to grow together. We’ve truly grown up with each other, supporting one another through all the ups and downs of high school, college, starting our careers and so much more. It is going to be so fun to officially be partners for life and to enjoy this next phase!!
