March Madness is upon us, but so is the chaos of the wedding season. What makes the process easier is having a one-stop shop for all of your planning needs. Baxter’s Fine Jewelry has partnered with Rhode Island and Massachusetts bridal businesses for Saturday Showcases each weekend.
All month long, as part of Baxter’s sale on wedding bands, local bridal vendors will participate in an adjoining Saturday Showcase event with the sale to get their name out there, Baxter’s event coordinator Janina Messerlian says. While designated vendors are highlighted each weekend, gifts with purchase of wedding bands will run each weekend, such as free jewelry boxes, wedding day emergency kits and month-long raffles for local vendors around the showroom. A candy bar provided by Pranzi Catering and Events will provide sweet treats to customers while they shop.

Get personal! On March 12, Emily Murray of Something Borrowed Event Decor will offer personalized eight-by-ten colored acrylic designs, one per couple while supplies last. Murray specializes in custom wedding and event signage rentals on mirrors, acrylic and wood.
Say cheese! On March 19, Elite Entertainment will offer a digital photo booth. Customers will receive the digital files via email. Elite Entertainment offers deejays, lighting, photobooths, social media booths, custom lettering and more. Glamour Flower Walls will collaborate for the perfect backdrop.
Spinning sweets: On March 26, Chic Cotton Candy from Boston will keep your sweet tooth satisfied with fun flavors and previews of wedding add-ons. Chic Cotton Candy provides a stylish, whimsical experience with a beautiful cart perfect for any special occasion.
These local vendors are offering sneak peeks of their services to Baxter’s customers in a try-before-you-buy fashion as they shop the trunk shows, the biggest selection of wedding bands year-round, according to Messerlian. The following jewelry selections will be featured over the next few weeks:
- March 8 through 12: Dora
- March 15 through 19: Memoire
- March 22 through 26: A. Jaffe
Baxter’s is offering 10 percent off any wedding bands and 15 percent off custom wedding bands.
“Even if you’re not buying, it’s a good idea to look, shop and put it on layaway,” Messerlian says.
