Sara Paesano from North Providence, Rhode Island, and Jack LaBelle from North Attleboro, Massachusetts, are set to wed September 23, 2023, at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
How We Met
Jack and I met on Bumble in December of 2019. Our first date was at Laura’s Bar and Grill for lunch. I’m not sure if it was exactly love at first sight for me—only because Jack did not have the look of the guy I would normally date. But after a few dates we really connected and the rest is history!
Our Proposal Story
Jack proposed on October 10, 2021. We had plans to go to dinner at Spain of Narragansett (or so I thought!). However, we were driving down to Narragansett early to maybe catch a sunrise and walk on the beach before our reservation that night. When we walked onto Galilee Beach there was a pop up tent ( it was raining slightly) with a small table that had flowers and champagne. When I saw the setup, I said to Jack, “Wow, that’s so cute, I wonder what it’s for.” He replied saying the setup was for us. We then went to the tent and were talking and then he started to talk about us and our relationship and proceeded to get down on one knee to pop the question! He also had a photographer there capturing the entire proposal. We then took photos on the beach and had our champagne. After that I went to get back in the car and Jack stopped me saying we should go to George’s of Galilee for a drink since we still had some time before the reservation at Spain. So we went to George’s and went upstairs to the bar area where I was surprised to see both of our parents, siblings and closest friends! I immediately started crying and was so overwhelmed with emotion. They had decorated a part of the restaurant with balloons, linens, flowers, photos and a cake from Sin bakery. We then had dinner at George’s that night surrounded by our immediate family and friends!
