ICYMI: Rhode Island Monthly’s annual Best of Rhode Island Reader’s Poll is up and running and there are only two weeks left to put your two cents in (the poll closes April 30th at 11:59 p.m. sharp)!
Now, of course, we’d highly encourage you all to vote for your favorite restaurants, breweries, consignment stores and so on, but if you’re reading this blog, we’re assuming the people you really want to recognize are your fave local wedding professionals (as you should!). Luckily, voting is now easier than ever. All you have to do is click on this link, find the “statewide” button, scroll through the categories on the left until you come to the wedding categories at the bottom (FYI: they start with “Local boutique for wedding dresses”).
This year we again have 17 wedding categories (see last year’s winners here), including best local boutique for wedding dresses, best wedding caterer, best wedding photographer, best wedding DJ, best wedding live band, best wedding cakes and desserts, best wedding stationery, best wedding jewelry, best wedding florist, best wedding hair, best wedding make-up, best wedding planner, best wedding videographer, best honeymoon planner, best unique local wedding transportation, best waterfront wedding venue and best classic wedding venue.
Just click on each category, write in the business of your choice (tip: Google autofill will help with spelling if need be), hit continue and voila! Your favorite florist or caterer is now one step closer to a 2021 BORI title. Note: You do not have to complete the entire ballot for your votes to count.
We will announce the winners in our annual Best of Rhode Island issue in August (along with, fingers crossed, a big BORI bash). We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
