Katie Coutu and Marcello Lessa of Lincoln, Rhode Island, are set to wed October 9, 2021 at Harbor Lights.
How We Met
We wouldn’t call it love at first sight; our romance took some time. Fourth grade was too early, in middle school we were too young, and in high school homeroom he was too busy stealing my snacks. We got on each other’s nerves. It wasn’t until our first year in college when it was just right and thank God for perfect timing! Since 2012, we’ve been head over heels building a home and a life together!
Our Proposal Story
Marcello snuck out one night to visit my parents, grandfather and sister for a very special dinner to ask for their blessing — a very easy question! An even easier question was when he asked me to spend his life with him in front of our families on Christmas morning. It was my very last gift of the day, and one that I will truly cherish every day for the rest of my life! We are so ready to celebrate our love with our friends and family and continue to build on the strength, love and joy that we bring to each other every day!
