Janice Wray of East Greenwich and Neal Glatt of Warwick are set to wed in the spring of 2022.
How We Met
We began talking on Christian Mingle, and two weeks later we met at Siena in East Greenwich. A typical dinner turned into a four-hour long event. After that, endless perfect dates followed! Including one date to the Biomes Center in North Kingstown when we became an official couple. Now, two years later, we are engaged!
Our Proposal Story
On December 22nd, Neil reserved an igloo at Gurney’s in Newport for a sunset dinner. A few days prior, he asked my mother for her blessing as they were shoveling snow off of my ramp. Neil got down on one knee to meet me at my wheelchair as he popped the question under the sunset sky, with a family ring dated back to the 1920s. Obviously I said yes! We later celebrated the news with a surprise bottle of champagne at home. Another surprise followed on Christmas, when I opened the gift of a personalized “first engagement” ornament that was engraved with the day he asked. Of course he knew I would say yes!
