Dana Marie of Cheshire, Connecticut, and Tyler Hookanson of Middletown, Rhode Island, are set to wed October 24, 2021 at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island.
How We Met
Tyler and I met through our place of work in early 2018. We started working together and quickly became friends! After we started hanging out outside of work with some other mutual friends, we began to grow closer and the rest was history. Now we have a beautiful baby girl together and cannot wait to officially become a family in 2021!
Our Proposal Story
On Saturday, September 5th, 2020, our entire family had a session planned with Jennifer Manville to shoot our 2020 family photos. We were headed to Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island, with our newest member of the family, our four-week old baby, Charlotte, and Tyler’s son, Liam. The plan was to take photos at three locations all around the park. When we got to the final location, the beach area, at sunset, we started taking some final family portraits. The water was in the background, and the sunset painted the sky beautifully. During one of our last photos, Tyler knelt to the ground and pulled out a beautiful diamond engagement ring and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. The entire proposal was caught on camera by the lovely, talented Jen Manville, who helped Tyler stage the most perfect proposal, at a picturesque location. It was so special since our entire family was able to be apart of it, and now we have some extremely memorable photos to show baby Charlotte when she gets older. It was absolutely perfect and I cannot wait for our wedding day!
