Jessica Paulhus of Lincoln, Rhode Island and Ross Carroccia of Warwick, Rhode Island are set to wed October 2, 2020 at the Crowne Plaza Warwick.
How We Met
We met in 2015 on Tinder. We officially met in person when I was going to school in New Hampshire (New England College) and Ross was just starting his career in automotive here in Rhode Island. We ended up dating my last semester in college, I moved back home to Rhode Island and the rest was history.
Our Proposal Story
It should be noted I hate surprises but this was one of the best surprises of my life. The day (September 15, 2019) started with a trip to a sunflower farm (which was initially not part of the proposal plan, but I begged Ross to go, which ended up changing the order of the day, oops!). After the sunflower farm we went to Beavertail State Park, which is where one of our first dates was when I moved back home. We went to our favorite rock spot, and that is where he proposed! We spent the rest of the evening in Newport, shopping and had dinner at Diego’s.
