Set on twenty-five lushly landscaped acres overlooking a picturesque lake of the same name, Lake Pearl is a landmark destination for New England weddings. Offering more than 15,000 square feet of refreshing venues — most of which come with dramatic water views — the beauty of our space is surpassed only by our superior service.
What makes Lake Pearl stand out from other venues?
An obvious answer would be “the lake” and that the dramatic backdrop of Lake Pearl stands out in pictures and adds a great element of drama. But what we’d say we get the most remarks about, during weddings and in the days following, is how amazing our staff is; how attentive, how helpful and how truly caring they all are.
Where are the best photo ops on your property?
Wow, this is probably one of the hardest questions. For some brides, it’s the beach. For others, it’s sunset on the Tree Top Deck. Others love the Cinderella Carriage. Between twenty-five acres of gardens and lawns, our private beach and the natural tree groves, there’s an abundance of “best photo ops” to suit any couple.

What options do couples have for their ceremony space?
85 percent of our couples get married right here, on-site. And with good reason. The beach, the beach-side Boat House, the Grand Gazebo with a sweeping view of the lake and the intimate Tree Top Gazebo are just four of at least eight ceremony locale options.
What options do couples have for their reception space?
We have four separate spaces, including our beautiful Victorian Tent. Each space features its own entry and own cocktail space — which are separate from the main room — as well as its own bridal suite and its own set of restrooms. They are all very private, with aesthetics ranging from formal to whimsical to rustic.
Do you have an on-site coordinator?
Tell us about them and how they help couples with their big day. Every Lake Pearl wedding couple has an on-site coordinator who rises up from the best of the best of our service team. While this person manages the overall party, we also provide separate coordinators who specialize in ceremonies, and each couple additionally gets a personal wedding attendant to manage their timeline, handle all of their personal touches and pamper them from start to finish. On the day of the wedding, we like to tell our brides and grooms that the only thing they should be concerned with is looking great and having an amazing time.
Tell us about your catering situation. What’s the most popular item on the menu?
Our executive chef and his sous chef have both been here for more than fifteen years. We do not prepare food in advance, but rather cook it ala minute, taking everything from oven to plate for each event. Chef Kyle specializes in traditional New England fare — including baked scrod, prime rib and chicken piccata — but he also has a flare for Mediterranean food and is always happy to customize to any flavor profile. Lately, he has been exploring new hors d’oeuvre offerings along with creative food stations that allow a wedding couple to add some personal style to their big day.
Do you offer any special discounts or packages?
We offer three packages, each built on the one before it, with great value at a wide range of price points. Currently, we are filling in our 2020 season, offering $10-per-guest off the adult package price for up to a $1,000 discount.
What advice would you give engaged couples that are just beginning their venue search?
There are a lot of venues to choose from; you can look forever. Choosing a venue is like choosing a spouse. You date a little bit, then find the one that seems right and seal the deal.
