Amanda and Jimmy are set to wed on April 25, 2020 with a ceremony at Our Lady of Grace Church in Johnston followed by a reception at The Atlantic Resort in Middletown.
How We Met
Jimmy and I met through mutual friends about ten years ago. We never really got to know each other until five years ago, Jimmy and I reconnected. We started off every Sunday morning, going out for breakfast. We had a plan to try a new breakfast location every Sunday inspired by Rhode Island Monthly’s Best Breakfasts! Our breakfast dates turned into full Sunday adventures which then turned into dinner dates.
Our Proposal Story
Jimmy proposed on July 14, 2018.
Jimmy and I went for a walk with our dog, Bane, at our favorite place, Chase Farm in Lincoln. Half way through our walk, we came to a shaded pathway and Jimmy got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!
After a few pictures and a lot of happy tears, Jimmy said he had more planned for our day and we needed to get going. Confused as to what was in store for the rest of the day, I asked what I needed to wear, as any girl would. Jimmy stated not to worry, he had something for me! He had already ordered us t-shirts to wear for the day!
We put on our shirts, hop in the car and off we go. As we pull up to his parents’ house, I went into complete shock. Cars were lined up and down the road! He had planned a “proposal party” and had everyone waiting for us outside. He included both of our families, all of our cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, niece and nephews and our friends. The day was so perfect and so special.
