Ashley Norberg of Cranston and Bradford Ginaitt of Warwick are set to wed on October 18, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza.
How We Met
Brad sent Ashley a friend request on Facebook and, because they had several mutual friends, Ashley accepted. Once she opened his profile and saw the picture of him holding a baby goat named Chester, she knew they had to meet. A few months later, they had their first date on Block Island and Ashley knew this was the man she would marry. They have spent every day of the last 5 years together!
Our Proposal Story
One night while watching TV, Brad suggested they visit their favorite city, Boston. He asked Ashley when their next day off together was and set the date for a dinner date to their favorite city. Brad can be very spontaneous with date nights, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary to plan. Looking back, there were several hints that this could have been a very important date. Brad wanted to visit his grandmother, who is a very special person in his life, before heading up to Boston, and he made sure they were both dressed up and even made reservations at a new restaurant, Strega. It wasn’t a cold day, but it had been lightly raining and Brad was carrying his jacket everywhere which could have been another clue that something was up, however, Ashley was convinced this occasion was the farthest thing from Brad’s mind. After dinner, Brad suggested they grab drinks at a bar called Top of the Hub which was on top of the Prudential building and overlooked the city. Once they arrived, it was was the perfect mood, as it was dimly lighted and there was a jazz band playing music. Seated in the corner of the room overlooking Boston, Brad made it the best night of Ashley’s life by asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. The rest was kind a blur for Ashley, but she said YES of course!
