As if having been in the business for more than twenty years wasn’t impressive enough, Cherryhill Flowers’ gifted team of six professional florists can boast a combined experience of over 100 years. And judging by the look of the gorgeous bouquets and floral decor included in this post, it certainly shows! We caught up with owner, Susan Falso, for an expert opinion on how to make your big day arrangements stand out from all the rest.

How far in advance should a bride or groom be looking to book your services as a florist?
Some brides are extremely efficient and book a year in advance while others book two months in advance. At either rate, the wedding is beautiful!!
Where should couples look for inspiration for bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, etc.?
As popular as Pinterest is, I still use google images. Pinterest seems to cater to DIY Brides or extremely elegant weddings. Most brides seem to fall in the middle.
How can couples make their wedding flowers stand out?
Although weddings are our business, every wedding is different. Each wedding should reflect the personality of the couple. Nothing cookie cutter!
If you could give brides only one piece of advice, what would it be?
My advice to most brides would be to pay a professional and relax and enjoy your day!! It goes by very quickly and there is NO need for you to worry about anything but showing up at your best. Select vendors that you can relate to and are comfortable working with. Each vendor has your best interest at heart. That is why in my shop I always make a sample to ensure that we are all on the same page.
