Tell us how you met:

Tim and I met on June 11, 2009 at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT (Go Bobcats!) when Tim was visiting the school for freshmen orientation. Tim was randomly assigned to my group and I was charged with introducing him to the University. Throughout the next year, we maintained a friendship and chatted occasionally when we would see each other around campus. In August 2010 sparks finally flew and we made our relationship “official” that September.

Tell us your proposal story: 

Since I graduated from Quinnipiac in 2012, Tim and I had a long distance relationship while I went to law school in Boston and he remained in CT for medical school. The last weekend in August 2014, I went to visit Tim in CT to celebrate our four year anniversary. I had no idea that Tim had been spending the last few weeks deciding on how he would pop the question and planning the day out to the last detail! Tim had asked my mother, Lynn, in June for her permission to marry me. We had already decided to climb Sleeping Giant State Park on Saturday, August 30, 2014. We  finally climbed to the top, the “chest” of the mountain, which perfectly overlooks the Quinnipiac campus. After sitting for a bit and reminiscing over the beautiful panoramic view of the place that started it all, Tim got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Lucky for him, I said YES!
