What happens when a wedding planner becomes the bride?

Being a wedding planner must make planning your own special day easier, right? “In some ways,” reflects Dayna, whose husband, George, actually proposed to her while she was in the midst of coordinating someone else’s wedding. She says, “It made it easier in that I knew really good vendors,” but, on the other hand, “the rest of it, especially trying to come up with a theme…I feel like I knew too much! I wanted everything.” It all came together when she and George chose the reception venue, which was actually recommended to her by one of her former brides.
A lover of all things natural, George enjoyed the greenery of the botanical center and the exotic fish at the aquarium, while Dayna reveled in the carousel photo ops and the flashy purple and sequin accents at the reception. In fact, the couple was so pleased with how their special day turned out, they returned to the area for their one year anniversary to recreate their favorite pictures.
