Upcoming wedding and trunk shows you shouldn’t miss.

Trunk Shows give bridal salons the opportunity to showcase more dresses from a designer’s latest collection (and most popular styles) in their shop. If there’s a 2015 gown you’re simply dying to try on, hitting a trunk show will likely give you the chance. Appointments are required for most of these events, so call in advance.

March 6–21: Wedding Band Blitz at M.R.T. Jewelers, 927 Warren Ave., East Providence, 435-3500, mrtjewelers.com. (Ok, so this isn’t an actual trunk show, but this is an annual event in which M.R.T. offers 20 percent off all their wedding bands so it’s still a can’t-miss.)

Wedding show season is winding down, but it’s not over yet. In case you got engaged after the January show rush (on Valentine’s Day, perhaps?), there are still a few upcoming events to put you in the planning spirit.
March 8: Cherish the Moments Wedding Expo
This annual show features food, entertainment, a fashion show, raffles and prizes. Fashion shows at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Couples are able to purchase and book services onsite with participating vendors. 11 a.m.–4 p.m. $5. Jacky’s Galaxie Restaurant, 383 Metacom Ave., Bristol, cherishthemoments.net.
March 22: Harbor Lights Bridal Expo
Meet one-on-one with experienced wedding professional amid the elegant ambience of Harbor Lights Country Club. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres while you explore the venue’s function spaces, which include the seaside terrace and ballroom, and chat with an array of vendors including music professionals, clothiers, photographers and more. April 12: The Original Wedding Expo
This annual event showcases more than seventy-five area vendors from all facets of wedding planning from fashion and music to photography, stationers and sweets. The expo also features a special bridal gown and veil sale, and a 2 p.m. fashion show of gowns, tuxes and flowers. 11 a.m.–3:30 p.m. $7 online, or $12 at the door.
