On the heels of January’s wedding shows come a slew of spring trunk shows. What’s so great about a trunk show, you may wonder? Trunk shows allow area bridal salons to showcase more of a designer’s dresses. These traveling trunks generally include some of the label’s most recent designs. So, if you’ve been scoping out a 2014 gown that you are dying to try, this may be your opportunity. Another bonus that sometimes accompany trunk shows: deals. Some bridal salons offer special pricing during these events. One rule to keep in mind (and this goes for all of the events listed below): You must make an appointment. Happy hunting.
