Tell us about your day: My wedding was unique because there was a lot of sentimental touches like my hand made brooch bouquet that took everyone’s breath away and my slightly blush/champagne wedding dress. With Pinterest making weddings nearly impossible to be anything “different,” I really tried to think outside the box. I wanted my 200-person wedding to feel as intimate as possible, and I really feel like with the sentimental and personal touches we incorporated, that vision came true. For instance, my brother and I to Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” in honor of my grandfather, a huge Yankee fan who passed away the same week of the wedding. In addition, my husband danced with his aunt because his mother passed away nine years ago. We were really able to still make it about family and love. Our photographer Lauren Halvorson really knew how to make my husband and I feel like the day was still about us and I think the pictures will speak for themselves! Alpine Country Club made us feel like we were not the one millionth couple to get married there; we really felt like royalty.
