Twitterpated: What an awesome word. You won’t find it in Webster’s, but it means exactly what you’d expect it to mean. Long before the days when Twitter was our vehicle for stalking one another via social media — err, I mean how we kept up-to-the-minute with everything around us — twitterpated was simply a spring phenomena best explained by Owl (for those of you who don’t have children or haven’t seen Bambi in a while, please educate yourselves here).
Just like Bambi, Thumper and Flower, we at Engaged are twitterpated come spring, and here it’s all about color. Regardless of whether you’re planning a spring wedding, this is an ideal time to develop your palette: Magnolia trees are in full bloom, peep-toe pumps showcase vibrantly painted toes, floral prints and brightly hued frocks liven wardrobes. Spring is saturated with color and we love every second of it. Perhaps that is why we are so taken with local artist Wendy Baker and her lovely little things.
